A compilation album with the various dialects in Moravian folk songs. The songs were selected and accompanied by the professors of the history of Czech literature Jiri Fiala and Maria Sobotkova on the issue of various meanings and differences of words across Moravia in folk songs performed by Muzika Hana, Jozka Severin, Petr Galecka, Vlasta Grycova, Matrina Hrbac, Solan and many others. Unlike the dialect, standard Czech is a central and codified unit of the Czech national language. Due to the influence of school education and the media, the dialects are retreating in favor of interdialects. And that is why listening to a melodic Moravian song in various dialects is fun and at the same time instructive.
