Spanish musicians who have lived in Arabian countries and Arabs and Persian people who are living in Spain gather together to share and develop their experiences in a contemporary context. Going from the Arab Maqam, through the Huzam, or to the Persian Segah mode, Darawish plunges into the whirlwind of reality in which we live and its tireless and endless spinning (like the dervish ). The result is a wide range of music. A multicolored repertoire of own compositions inspired by the classical and folkloric musical heritage of the Mediterranean and Middle East, especially Arabic and Persian, expressed with a contemporary vision through the influences from jazz and other trends of modern music from the West.
